"Some Folks Say." (a song.)

I wrote this song a few years ago. I recorded it on a home-made recording studio from old pieces of equipment I bought at Thrift Stores. I play the individual pieces too, its a multi-track recording. The sound quality is not the best.
With some encouragement from hubbers like Fiddlemaker (Putz Ballard), Saddlerider1 (Ken), and eveyone's favorite - Brie Hoffman, here on hubpages, I decided to give it a whirl (Thank you guys.)
I'll set it up so eveyone may vote on whether I post any more. Not all my songs are Christian songs. This is the first time I have ever posted my music publicly, so be gentle. This song is on YouTube, but can only be accessed here, I am only sharing it on Hubpages! I will be taking this song down in the future to replace the photographs with more appropriate original artwork that fits the words.
The photography I took here and there while riding my horse or hiking around my home.

Harlen, I am not just saying this was really good. For one to put all those sounds and instruments together is a task..the words are profound and such a great message. Hope to hear more..A message that we all need to hear everyday! Thank you for sharing.

Harlan - I am not Christian but I loved the hub and the video. I think any one of any faith would enjoy it! I loved the photos and did I hear a flute in the music? Excellent!

We are music jammers in this house with our friends and really get into the spirit of singing, so I really enjoyed what you put together. You warned us of the poorer production quality, but it still translates into a nice tune. You're not ready for a recording career, but I encourage you to keep writing and singing. Oh,

Hi Harlan,
I love music and singing, my sister had won over 50 prizes for singing classical songs and also for her piano playing by the time she was 15 years old.
sadly I lost her eleven years ago but her beautiful voice is in my heart forever and singing is also with me to stay.
Please carry on sharing with us Harlan because I for one loved it and obviously not just me, just read all the comment.
I will wait patiently but don't keep me waiting too long my friend.
You are talented and we all want to hear more.

That was beautiful I think you should do more hubs like this it was awesome. My problem was the voting I picked the pole dancing for Jesus. I thought you were awesome! You do the singing and Ill do the dancing for Jesus. Love the photos! Was that you standing in the doorway? Great Hub!

Thank you, I love playing with sounds and making them fit, though have not had much time the last couple years.

@ HattieMattie: I agree with that! I feel that sometimes too while writing or hammering out some melodies.
@ CatOAS: I turned down an offer in 1988 to move to California and write music on the beach - because the producer wanted me to change the lyrics to my songs.

I like your voice, I know what it's like to be a singer and want your work to be admired...I think you did a great job with the instruments, the words and all...impressed. I also loved the words alot. spiritual..I'm at a loss for words! lol
