Meet the Fakers: Your New Online Friend, is actually Gov't Software SPYING on YOU. It's For Real...
75
What if your best online friend... is fake?
We have all had our share of phony friends, however, If you haven't heard you might be in for a few more. You see, the current administration values your opinion, especially if your opinion agrees with everything the wizard behind the curtain says. In fact, your disagreement is so annoying that the administration has decided to offset your voice with someone who whole-heartedly agrees with them on everything.
Not only can we offset your existence with carbon credits, we can replace you with cyber artificial intelligence. Most of your friends can't tell, but you don’t even really exist! Isn’t that awesome?! Its like the Obama version of the game Civilization.
To accomplish this goal, the Obama Administration is soliciting bids from private software companies to develop what the contract calls "Personal Management Software." The software will allow one person (government flunky) to create and control several fake online profiles/personalities.
It reminds me of certain states where every year John Smith votes 500 times in an election... and he's only been dead for 10 years.
Choose your avatar...
John and Jane Cyber-Doe, (almost sounds Cajun).
They could be your new friend on Facebook, or any other multiple of social network websites. The identities are created by (a Beta) software, that emulates a real person. The software will give them a random personality based on a preset data base of core values, much like throwing a handful of dice on a table and each number that pops-up represents a human value or political position that characterizes the whole of the new identity. Only, chances are, "your" dogmatic position is not in the data base, not favorably anyway. If it were, they wouldn't need the software. But, here-in lies the beauty... being the good little sheeple that you are, once you see all your fake cyber friends drinking and promoting the government cool-aid, you'll get in line too.
Note: Cool-Aid is actually spelled Kool-Aid, but its also the name of a fine product that has been around for nearly 100 years. Its as American as Apple Pie! Thus I spelled it Cool-Aid out of respect for an American legend. Read Kool-Aid History at this link:http://www.kool-aiddays.com/index.php?Itemid=161&id=90&option=com_content&task=view
Fake Friends, How it All Works...
Your new fake friend identity is given a fake IP address too. Identities come in a 10-PACK, ya'know like a six-pack after work. Some government flunky behind a keyboard somewhere will manage the identities in groups of 10. How many groups of 10 each person will manage is unknown.
The software is very advanced. It can make your new fake friends, go on fake trips and make fake posts from their trip from various localities etc. The gov't contract requires the new software to protect the identity of government entities using the software.
However, you are not supposed to suspect anything anyway, because the cyber-identity will seem fairly real to most idiots and if you start to catch on, some government flunky can actually hop on the account and pretend to be your fake cyber friend so as to throw you off guard and gather all kinds of information from you.
The Government Contract...
Some of the information on this contract has come from private security firm HBGary... only not on purpose.
Someone leaked the info.
The leaked information discusses plans to "friend" real people on social websites and use those relationships to pass out the Cool-Aid. The software will even go so far as to mine the information of all your friends as well. It builds a database on you and starts building your file; it continues to build your file like missing pieces of a puzzle.
But, "You say," I am not on any social websites.
Yea. So. It doesn't matter.
Go here to see the contract for yourself.
Let's paint you a picture. You are not on a social website, but some of those idiot friends of yours from high school are all about Facebook and MySpace. Once the software figures out who went to which high school, then it starts to search internet databases and build its own database. Suddenly, the software realizes YOU went to school with your idiot friend on Facebook. In time you will be receiving invites to join your idiot high school friends on Facebook too.
The documentation sales-pitch claims that regarding social media, "YOU" are only as protected as your weakest friend. Let's be honest. We all have some really weak friends.
Other quotes in the leaked emails say, "There are a variety of social media tricks we can use to add a level of realness to all fictitious personas...
Using hashtags and location-based check-in services we can make it appear as if a persona was actually at a conference and introduce himself/herself to key individuals as part of the exercise, as one example."
Additional emails discuss the vulnerability social networking causes. One employee discusses how they used one social network site to find 112 wives and children of service men overseas, stating that the network made it much easier for an attacker to meet a victim.
The Future...
In the future such artificial intelligence could become so advanced it may be nearly impossible to know if someone online is real or not. What appears to be a friend might be a government or corporate program using a friendship to mine personal information over a period of time.
After all, one can never have too many fake friends.

Thanks for explaining how it works!
Now for some questions...
Was this part of the current White House resident's economic stimulus plan?
How much do "We the Taxpayer's" pay for this Tom-foolery?
Maybe those government workers should go on strike :)
Harlan,
I wonder if these fake people will be voting too, Dead people already vote two or three times, and with "judges" e.g. stooges saying it is illegal to ask for someone to prove they are who they say they are and can legally vote...
Harlan,
Well, Let's see... Can I give you a short form and fake SSN?
:) this is my smiling face.
Yes indeed you just don't know about who you might be friends with be it John and Jane Cyber Fake online friends designed to sway the public or not, well I'll keep this is mind.
I recently read by 2040 something computers and artificial intelligence will surpass human abilities... Hmmm you've pointed out this maybe a new and progressive trend.
Great and thought provoking read! :) Katie
Hi, well they can spy on me if they want to, they will be so bored they will fall asleep! lol and to be quite honest, I have the policy of never trusting anybody, it works out great, but my brother is getting fed up of me asking him for ID!
Hmmmm... I had not ever really thought of that. Perhaps this is why I get several new "friend requests" per week on Microsoft/Hotmail/Live Spaces. I have repeatedly denied all of them and have even contacted Microsoft about it. A strange, but fitting, thought I have had related to this is that Google IS the CIA. Not just a contractor.
Just one more thought on this... and I am not discounting your thoery...just a thought for you. Why would an "intel agency" bother creating these "bots" as it were, when they already have full access to just be on anybody's computer - anytime without detection? Eh, kinda just thought of an answer to that... but what say you?
How about a little George Orwell, big brother has been watching us since 1984, he's just getting better at it. In my life it doesn't matter. If I don't like what someone tells me I tell them where to get off. Other than Hub pages I can't be buried much deeper than I am on the net. Until they bury me for real I will always be a pain in someone's backside. So send in the cyber friends I am ready. LOL
Guess the shut off the car thing won't matter long soon no one will be able to drive anything built before 1984, or the ones built after for that matter. LOL Time to get a horse. LOL I really think the Amish people have had the right idea all along. Stay off the grid and don't own cars, horse drawn buggies can't outrun the police but if you live Amish there is no reason to worry.
Yeah I've had fake friends before online. But I think they really are human. As far as software programs, well, that's an invasion of privacy, the way I see it, and should be unlawful.
This is very interesting. It doesn't really surprise me, but I seriously doubt a friend could ever sway my political persuasion. Especially a fake friend.
I find it more worrisome that a bank would check to see who my friends on facebook are. I'm not responsible for the way people I went to kindergarten with live.
After reading this again, I am just sitting here waiting for my credit score to go through the floor. I don't think I know anyone who pays all their bills on time. Never stopped me from doing it though.
If you've read any of my stuff then you might suspect that I have some of those fake "government" friends watching over me.
Good job. Up and useful.
LMAO

Hello Harlan
This is a wonderful article. It is very educating and entertaining. I am really glad I found it.
Your Friend
Prince Onaolapo Adeyemi.
I appreciate your warm welcome and encouraging words. I'll make sure I forward your hubs to all my friends on Facebook.
Till then
It's bye for now.
Ha Ha already though they were on our trail anyway, censoring everything we say and do on the internet, and isn't that what really facebook, my space, and all the social work sites for to monitor what we think, and say, spy, and deterimine what we are all about. lol
Harlan - I Hub mailed you my FB home page link. Welcome friend.
The Frog
It is quite scary.
Lately, facebook has had an alert at the sidebar telling me I'm not secure enough and if I add my address and phone number my profile will be better protected. I'm not sure how they think giving them more personal information will make me more secure. I'm not giving it to them. There is no reason they should ever need that information especially now that they are connected with every other site that lets them see my facebook information.
lol I too use a pseudonym online. The less they know the better.
Harlan I really have a bot that follows me around, its a program inside my computer that captures any link I click on. It only sends the link, not as far as I know, anything I do once I am on the link. I know its there and allow it to stay because of the perks that come with it. It originates in Germany so the US is gaining nothing from it. LOL
This disturbs me greatly. However, on the other hand, the people ignorant enough to add anyone and everyone to their "friends" list are inviting this type of behavior, as are the ones who fail to use or understand the privacy settings on these sites. Ever noticed that teachers, law enforcers and military people either refuse to use these social networking sites, or if they do, they keep their privacy settings at a high level. Ever wonder why they do that? I am quite convinced, however that even if you have your privacy set to high, they can still see it. I have a rather opinionated big mouth, and I have had more than one politically charged statement on FB mysteriously disappear. I imagine most people would crap a purple twinkie if they knew how much the government knows about them and watches in their lives. Even more alarming is how many people practically send them an engraved invitation. Voted "up, useful" and shared on FB.
This is an awseome hub. I believe this 100%!Big brother might be watching us but im watching them right back...Great hub thanks for sharing.
Great hub, lots to think about! God is in control!!
Great information. The first time I bought hosting from a site,I had to check by asking random questions if I am talking to a real person.
GREAT HUB!...Very informative and also scary it brings to mind someone I ran across FB who after having a few conversations with made me very suspicious of them...I felt they were trying to entrap me in some kind of way by the things they were saying...now after reading this I wonder if they could have been a govt stooge...smh....what is this world coming to! Keep up the good work by keeping us informed.
Interesting article!
I posted it on our forum so it should generate some interest
Harlan said, "Yea they think they are so sneaky, but what they don't understand is THEY work for us, we are in charge! HA!"
------------------------
Contraire...contraire! "They" don't work for us and "They" never have and "They" never will. We are just a vast herd of cash cows who provide the elite with power, privilege and prosperity. We don't vote them into office and we cannot vote them out.
Oh contraire infinity, my friend, the realization that "they" have never worked for us and "they" never will is a gold nugget of truth.
Now, I will agree that Americans can take charge, but we will have to clean house and replace all the "they" personnel. But, how are we going to replace them, and please don't tell me you subscribe to Oprah's THE SECRET: If you believe something hard enough and you want it bad enough...it will happen.
Perhaps I suffer from the lack of imagination, but I just don't see how this change will take place peacefully and even with the onset of advanced age, I still remember the travesty of the Contract with America back in 1994 with Newt Gingding and all those fresh, Republican faces in Congress, yet they too, laid a rotten egg, just like all the ugly ducks before them and all those that came after them. Same old cow-pie...different day!
Peace be with you. - L.R.
